I'M WITH COCO

Recent discussions at NBC that have angered “The Tonight Show” host Conan O’Brien has seen the formation of a large internet movement gaining momentum daily.

Upon hearing about the possibility that Jay Leno was reclaiming his nighttime television slot, forcing successor Conan O’Brien into the a.m., Los Angeles based designer Mike Mitchell put his artistic skills to use by creating a poster that has circled the world over via the Internet.

The poster that sates “I’M WITH COCO” under an image of the red haired late night television host, has been reposted on message board and social networking sites by fans who want to see Conan O’Brien’s Tonight Show retain it’s timeslot.

The Facebook fan page titled “I’m with Coco” currently has over 380,000 fans and growing by the minute.

Last Conan O'Brien

After 16 years (13 of them funny) NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien has been laid to rest after it's 2,725th episode that included a gaggle of superstar guests and a brand of humour that we have come to know and love as "Coco's".

But before Conan fans start ascending to the rooftops, know that he will be back, and soon!

June 1 will mark the day that Jay Leno steps down from his role as host of L.A. based "The Tonight Show" creating a void that only Conan O'Brien can fill. The move is part of a contract between NBC and Conan that was signed in 2004 to ensure the perpetual succession of the ever popular and long running "Tonight Show".

As part of Late Night's wind down over the last week Conan has been dismantling his set and taking his audience and viewers on a journey back through his fondest, and most hilarious, memories and sketches - and treated us to an especially star studded line up of both planned and surprise guests including Jerry Seinfeld, Stephen Colbert and Bob Saget.

Conan was thankful for his opportunity to make people laugh on "Late Night" but promised that nothing would change, and his fans could expect the same brand of humour when he transitions to "The Tonight show".

"There are people that have hosted these kinds of shows who are better than I am," he said. "Nobody has ever enjoyed it more than I do. It's an incredible, amazing honor to do this show for you people."

"I want to say something about—we're going on to this next gig, and sometimes I read that it's time for Conan to grow up because he's going to 11:30," he continued. "And I assure you, that's just not going to happen. I can't. This is who I am, for better or for worse."
